Soviet Memorial in Treptower Park

This tour takes you through the Soviet Memorial in Treptower Park.

After World War II was over, the Red Army erected three large memorials in Berlin for its soldiers who died in the “Battle of Berlin”. Let’s take a closer look at one of them.

The memorial in Treptow was inaugurated in 1949 and around 7000 Soviet soldiers found their final resting place here. We look at the history, architecture and significance of the memorial

The meeting point for this tour is the statue of “Mother Homeland” at the Soviet Memorial in Treptower Park. An alternative meeting point can also be arranged and we will then travel together to the memorial.
