“The Berliners are unfriendly and reckless, gruff, and bossy. Berlin is odious, noisy, dirty, and grey; roadworks and congested streets wherever you go – but I’m sorry for everyone who does not stay here.”

Anneliese Bödecker, 1932 – 2015, Social worker and recipient of the Order of Merit of Berlin

Divided Berlin

On this tour we discover the former East Berlin. How did Berlin come to be divided into sectors and how was the Wall built in 1961? Where are the original remains of the Wall still standing today? What exactly was the Palace of Tears? These and many other questions will be answered on the tour.

All participants require a public transport ticket for this tour; this is NOT included in the price. We are happy to help with the selection.
